Another good year forecast, but how long can it last?

Macquarie Capital's Anthony Green expects the office property sectors in Melbourne and Sydney to continue to be top performers globally in 2018, while he adds that mergers and acquisitions activity in Australia's real estate investment trust sector should remain strong. Meanwhile, Adrian Sheldon of Goldman Sachs says funding costs in the property sector can be expected to rise in 2018 due to a likely increase in both short and long-term interest rates..
