Profitable Baking inks partnership with InfinityQS

Apr 12, 2018 (MarketLine via COMTEX) --

Profitable Baking has signed a partnership with Global Manufacturing and Quality Intelligence Solution vendor InfinityQS.

The company is a value added contractor in the baking industry and thanks to the new relationship is set to offer Enact, thenative-cloud Quality Intelligence platform from InfinityQS.Profitable Baking is a rapidly growing contractor of efficient baking technologies such as the J4 Tunnel Oven and baking lines and it aims to help its clients to apply Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology.Michal Rozkydalek, Founder & CEO, Profitable Baking, stated: "Every bakery aims to minimise costs and optimise output based on a number of interrelated factors such as labour, flour, sugar, yeasts, eggs, mixtures, spices and other cost inputs such as gas, water, cooling, and heat dissipation. Throw into this mix packing, transport, and logistics then overall output, productivity, custom KPIs, asset utilisation, wear and tear and depreciation and bakers face a number of highly unpredictable factors that will have an immediate impact on profitability."We have built the business with the modern bakery in mind and at its heart lies data. Our teams work closely with our clients to look at that data to identify reliable predictions for the future thereby preventing most critical technical failures making production more efficient, secure, stable and profitable. Key to this will be our relationship with InfinityQS and its Enact software solution which we are now offering to our customers as an integral part of our portfolio offering."Enact helps users intuitively process critical quality data that today's modern manufacturing operations require. Advances in mobile and cloud computing, automation, and the IIoT enable Enact to aggregate data from disparate sources and input methods, uncover strategic information, and prioritise enterprise-wide quality activities. Manufacturers finally have the ability to see the "big picture" view of quality across all of their plants, production lines, products, and shifts.Jason Chester, Director of Channel Programs for InfinityQS comments: "There are three fundamental drivers of the factory of the future and the baking industry is no different: upstream and downstream system integration, centralised data from across the enterprise, and powerful analytics that can be used to transform operations. This is exactly what Enact provides, rewriting expectations of quality intelligence for manufacturers in this case bakers - and helps them see the entire enterprise. This insight instigates change and can be used to drive global business transformations, readying the organisation to embrace Industry 4.0, generate sustainable cost savings, and ensure long-term business success."

The Enact Quality Intelligence platform is a native-cloud product that helps managers and quality professionals easily view critical quality information across all regions and plants while using any computing device even a mobile phone. This visibility helps highlight how processes are running, where problems exist, and where quality resources should be engaged to generate the greatest economic benefit for the organisation. In addition to providing visibility across all plants, Enact triggers real-time alarms on the shop floor and identifies opportunities for improvement that reduce costs, increase profitability, improve quality, enhance competitive position, and protect brand equity. As part of the launch of this new partnership, Profitable Baking will be joined by InfinityQS representatives at the FoodEx event in the Birmingham NEC from 16-18 April 2018.
