Russian Federation : The results of the weekly monitoring of the situation on the agrifood market were summed up

Grain market. According to the operational data of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, on November 29, 2017, in the current 2018/2019 agricultural year, 24.3 million tons of grain crops were exported, which is 10.1% higher than the same period last season (22.0 million tons). The volume of wheat exports for the season was 20.4 million tons (19.3% higher than the same period of the 2017/18 season), barley - 2.7 million tons (-9.7%), corn - 856 thousand tons (in 2.0 times lower).

According to the regional authorities of the agro-industrial complex on November 29, 2017, the average Russian prices (excluding VAT) for wheat of the 3rd class are 10,402 rubles / ton (+ 1% per week), for wheat of the 4th class 9,545 rubles / ton (0% for week), for class 5 wheat - 8,869 rubles / ton (0% for a week), for feed barley - 9 371 rubles / ton (+ 2% for a week). On November 29, 2018, according to experts, the price for Russian wheat of 4 class, protein 12.5 (FOB Novorossiysk) was $ 228 per ton (unchanged in a week). According to the US Department of Agriculture, the price of US wheat SRW (CPT Gulf of Mexico) was $ 207 / ton ($ -1 / ton per week).

The market of meat and meat products. In January-October 2018, the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter (live weight) in farms of all categories amounted to 11.7 million tons and increased by 3.0% compared to the same period in 2017.

According to the operational data of SM PB, the weighted average price of agricultural producers in the Russian Federation on 11/29/2018 for cattle (live weight) was 110.73 thousand rubles / ton (-1.3% per week), for half-carcass beef - 214.97 thousand rubles / ton (+ 1.0% per week, + 1.0% by the end of December 2017, + 1.8% compared to the same period of 2017), for pigs (in live weight) amounted to 106.34 thousand RUB / t (+ 1.9% per week), for half carcass pork - 166.46 thousand RUB / t (+ 1.3% for the week, + 9.5% by the end of December 2017, +8 , 5% over the same period in 2017), for live poultry amounted to 75.93 thousand rubles / ton (-1.6% per week), for poultry meat (chickens) 112.50 ths. Rub. / T (-0.8% for the week, + 16.3% by the end of December 2017, + 16.1% compared to the same period of 2017).

Prices of industrial producers (according to Rosstat) in October 2018 were: for beef - 230.85 rubles / kg (-0.8% per month, + 3.0% by September 2017, + 3.6% to December 2017); for pork - 172.61 rubles / kg (-2.8% per month, + 17.3% by September 2017, + 23.5% by December 2017); for poultry meat (chickens) - 106.77 rub./kg (+ 4.7% per month, + 16.8% by September 2017, + 19.5% by December 2017).

The average consumer prices as of 11.26.2018 were: for beef - 328.62 rub./kg (0.0% per week, + 2.2% from the beginning of 2018, + 2.9% compared to the same period of 2017); for pork - 273.75 rubles / kg (+ 0.5% per week, + 7.2% from the beginning of 2018, + 6.9% compared to the same period of 2017); for poultry (chicken) - 148.60 rubles / kg (+ 0.8% per week, + 17.6% from the beginning of 2018, + 17.1% to the same period of 2017)

The market for milk and dairy products. In January-October 2018, the gross milk yield in farms of all categories amounted to 27.1 million tons and increased by 1.2% compared to the level of 2017, in agricultural organizations, the gross milk yield increased by 3.6% to 13.6 million tons. The growth of gross milk yield is provided by an increase in the productivity of dairy cattle. So, in January-October 2018, in agricultural organizations, milk yield per cow was 5,450 kg (+3.1% compared to the same period of 2017).

According to the operational data of the departmental weekly monitoring of the price situation on the agrifood market, the weighted average price of agricultural producers in the Russian Federation on 11/29/2018 for raw milk was 23.96 rubles / kg (+0.12 rubles / kg per week, -0.23 rubles / kg by the end of December 2017; -0.15 rubles / kg compared to the same period of 2017).

According to the operational data of the departmental weekly monitoring of the price situation on the agrifood market, the weighted average price of industrial producers in the Russian Federation on 11/29/2018 for pasteurized milk amounted to 41.48 rubles / kg (-0.4% per week, -0.6% by December 2017, -0.7% over the same period of 2017), for butter - 434.06 rubles / kg (+ 1.3% for the week, + 1.8% by December 2017, + 1.4% for the same period of 2017); hard cheese - 354.63 rubles / kg (-0.2% per week, + 3.9% by December 2017, + 3.4% compared to the same period of 2017).

The average consumer prices as of 11.26.2018 were: pasteurized milk - 53.35 rubles / kg (+ 0.1% per week, + 0.7% from the beginning of 2018, + 0.5% over the same period in 2017 ); for butter - 546.21 rubles / kg (+ 0.3% per week, + 2.1% from the beginning of 2018, + 4.0% over the same period in 2017); for cheeses - 495.27 rubles / kg (+ 0.4% per week, + 3.1% from the beginning of 2018, + 4.0% compared to the same period of 2017). Sugar market. In January-October 2018, the production of granulated sugar decreased by 0.6% compared to the same period in 2017 and amounted to 4,138.2 thousand tons.

At the New York Commodity Exchange, there was an increase in stock quotes for raw sugar. As of November 28, 2018, quotations were at the level of $ 283 / t (+ 1.3% over the week, -11.9% by December 2017, -14.8% compared to the same period of 2017).
