USDA-SJ: Kansas City feedstuffs weekly summary

Kansas City Weekly Feedstuff Review
Truck bids per ton unless otherwise stated.

  Feedstuff prices were mostly steady to lower for the week.  Demand moderate to 
good with supplies readily available.  Commodity prices are still being affected 
by drought in South America and the Corn Belt here in the US.

Soybean Meal, 48 percent traded 11.50-12.50 lower from 358.50-364.50 per ton. Soybean
Hulls traded steady to 15.00 lower from 120.00-125.00 per ton. Soybean Hulls Pelleted
traded steady to 10.00 lower from 120.00-130.00 per ton. 41 Percent Cotton Seed Meal
traded steady from 330.00-385.00 per ton. Corn Gluten Feed Pellets traded steady from
170.00-175.00 per ton. Corn Gluten Meal 60 Percent traded steady at 565.00 per ton.
Kansas Interior Millfeeds Rail traded steady from 87.00-115.00 per ton; Truck was
steady to 10.00 lower from 130.00-150.00 per ton. Hominy Feed (FOB KC Northwest) Rail
was not available per ton; Truck was not available per ton. Meat and Bone Meal was
10.00 higher at 275.00 per ton.  Feather Meal was 50.00-65.00 lower at 400.00 per
ton.  Yellow grease was not available per ton.  Alfalfa Meal was steady from 216.00-
265.00 per ton; Sun-Cured 15 percent  was steady from 222.00-237.00 per ton; Alfalfa
Center, NE Pellets 17 pct was steady from 195.00-230.00 per ton.
