Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, Mar 05, 2019

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
   The Mar Soybean Meal futures closed 2.40 higher at 305.60, May closed 2.70 higher 
at 310.00, July closed 2.60 higher at 313.70. The Mar Soybean Oil futures closed 36 
points lower at 29.73 cents per pound, May closed 38 points lower at 30.02 cents per 
pound and July closed 38 points lower at 30.36 cents per pound.  The Rail delivery of 
high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 2.70 higher from 274.00-276.00, the basis 
was steady from 36.00 to 34.00 under the May Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 
pct protein was steady to 5.00 higher from 230.00-235.00 in the North Dakota-
Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was steady to 5.00 lower 
from 165.00-210.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola Meal was limited at 
230.00 with basis limited at 80.00 under the May Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in 
Minnesota was 36 to 57 points lower from 29.52-30.73 cents per pound; the basis 
ranged 50 points under the May to 100 points over the March soybean oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady to 35.00 lower from 200.00-250.00; 
Pork was steady from 250.00-265.00. Yellow Grease was steady from 19.00 to 21.00 
cents per pound. Choice White Grease was steady to 150 points lower from 21.50 to 
23.50 cents per pound. Feather Meal was steady to 20.00 lower from 470.00-525.00. 
Ruminant Blood Meal was steady to 25.00 lower from 525.00-625.00; Pork was steady to 
10.00 higher from 625.00-675.00.

Millfeeds:
   Wheat Middlings were 1.00 to 5.00 higher from 78.00-100.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPLS, other ingredients are FOB.
