Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, Apr 23, 2019

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
   The May Soybean Meal futures closed 5.50 lower at 301.00, July close 5.60 
lower at 304.50. The May Soybean Oil futures closed 66 points lower at 28.06 
cents per pound and July closed 65 points lower at 28.37 cents per pound.  The 
Rail delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 3.50 to 5.50 lower 
from 271.00-276.00, the basis was steady to 2.00 higher from 30.00 to 25.00 
under the May Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady 
from 235.00-250.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct 
fiber, 34 pct protein was 5.00 lower from 155.00-165.00 in the North Dakota-
Minnesota area. Canola Meal was mixed, 50 cents lower to 4.50 higher from 
216.00-221.00, the basis was 5.00 to 10.00 higher from 85.00 to 80.00 under 
the May Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 65 to 66 points 
lower from 27.87-28.56 cents per pound; the basis was steady from 50 points 
under the July futures to 50 points over the May soybean oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady from 175.00-230.00; Pork 
ranged 205.00-210.00.  Yellow Grease was mixed, 75 points lower to 50 points 
higher from 19.00-21.25 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was steady to 50 
points lower from 21.00-23.00 cents per pound.  Feather Meal was steady to 
5.00 lower from 425.00-485.00, instances 510.00-515.00. Ruminant Blood Meal 
was steady to 45.00 higher from 700.00-800.00; Pork was steady to 50.00 
higher from 800.00-875.00. 

Millfeeds:
   Wheat Middlings were steady to 5.00 higher from 68.00-85.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPLS, other ingredients are FOB.
