                             Domestic Trend
   
   In the south, long and medium grain milled rice prices steady.  Parboiled 
prices steady.  Second heads and Brewers prices steady.  Rice by-products: 
Rice Bran, Millfeed and Rice Hulls steady.              
   In California, medium grain milled rice prices steady.  Second heads and 
Brewers steady.  Rice by-products: Rice Bran and Rice hulls steady. 
   CME Rough Rice settlements for Monday 1st, May 19 closed .01 higher at 
10.86; Jly 19 closed .02 higher at 11.03.  US dollar index settled at 97.26.  
USDA NASS March 29 Rice prospective plantings for all classes: Arkansas 97, 
California 96, Louisiana 91, Mississippi 107, Missouri 102 and Texas 105% of
