Combined United States and Canadian Soybeans Crushed Up 10 Percent From 2017

This publication is a result of a joint effort by Statistics Canada and 
USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service to release the soybean and 
canola seed crushings information for both countries within one publication. 
United States soybean and oilseed crushings numbers for 2018 were previously 
released on March 15, 2019. Canadian soybean and oilseed crushings were 
released on March 22, 2019.

Combined United States and Canadian soybeans crushed for crude oil was 65.2 
million tons in 2018, an increase of 10 percent from 2017.  Crude oil 
production was 24.9 billion pounds compared to 22.9 billion pounds in 2017. 

Combined United States and Canadian canola seeds crushed for crude oil was 
12.1 million tons in 2018, up less than 1 percent from 2017.  Crude oil 
production was 10.7 billion pounds, up 1 percent from 2017.

 	All reports are available electronically, at no cost, on the NASS web 
site: www.nass.usda.gov

 	Both national and state specific reports are available via a free e-
mail subscription. To set-up this free subscription, visit 
www.nass.usda.gov and click on "National" or "State" in upper right 
corner above "search" box to create an account and select the reports 
you would like to receive.

 	Cornell's Mann Library has launched a new website housing NASS's and 
other agency's archived reports. The new website, 
https://usda.library.cornell.edu. All email subscriptions containing 
reports will be sent from the new website, 
https://usda.library.cornell.edu. To continue receiving the reports via 
e-mail, you will have to go to the new website, create a new account 
and re-subscribe to the reports. If you need instructions to set up an
