According to Brazilian government figures, the country's agribusiness exports, considered one of the engines of Brazil's economy, grew 4.8 percent during the month of September in comparison with the same month of the previous year, along with profits that amounted USD8.56 billion.

In addition to that, the sugar sector, whose exports increased 89.8 percent, improved the expansion of September agricultural shipments, reported the country's Ministry of Agriculture on Friday.

As a result of the augmented sales to Asia because of a decrease in the production of Sugar in both India and Thailand, there was an increasing export of raw cane sugar by 111.3 percent in September annually from 420.36 million dollars to 888.38 million dollars.

Because of the growth in Brazil's agribusiness exports in September and the decrease in exports of different other products, the sector's share of the total exports of the country jumped from 40.2 percent to 46.3 percent annually.
