CBOT agricultural futures increase

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural futures increased on the board on Monday, as wheat led the increases.

The most active corn contract for December delivery increased one cent, or 0.27 percent, to set at USD3.695 per bushel.

December wheat added 3.75 cents, or 0.69 percent, to end at USD5.4575 per bushel. November soybean increased 3.5 cents, or 0.35 percent, to end at USD9.995 per bushel.

U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) said that China booked a total of 456,000 metric tons of corn along with 129,000 metric tons of U.S. soybeans, along with 318,000 metric tons of U.S. soybeans that were sold to an unknown destination.
