CBOT agriculture futures end mixed

Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) crop futures have settled mixed on Tuesday as investors are monitoring the phase one U.S.-China trade deal to be made this week.

March wheat saw an increase of 6.25 cents, or 1.11 percent, to set at USD5.685 per bushel.

The most active corn contract for March delivery posted a drop of 0.5 cent, or 0.13 percent, to come in at USD3.89 per bushel. March soybeans stayed the same at USD9.4225 per bushel.

Inspections of wheat and soybeans for abroad delivery increased since the earlier week as assessments of corn posted a drop in the week through the 9th of January, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
