SC Farm Report on Thursday  
  	
   Cattle at SC Auctions on Wednesday:  No feeder cattle trends are 
available this week due to limited comparable sales.  Feeder Steers: 
Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 140.00-155.00, 500-600 lbs 130.00-
145.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 138.00-150.00, 
500-600 lbs 129.00-140.00.  Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-
500 lbs 119.00-127.00, 500-600 lbs 110.00-122.00. Slaughter cows were 
steady.  Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 36.00-55.00; Boners 85-85% 
lean 40.00-60.00; Lean 85-90% lean 40.00-46.00; Lean low dressing 25.00-
35.00. Slaughter bulls were steady. Slaughter Bulls: 1165-1980 lbs 
60.00-67.00. 
   Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 2-3 985-1255 lbs Young to Middle Age 
Cows with 125-210 lbs calves 475.00-580.00 per pair.  
   Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was 1.25 lower at 38.80.  
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 28.27; 450-500 lbs 31.75; 500-550 lbs 35.74. 
   SC Grain on Thursday.  Corn was 6 cents higher; elevator bids 4.08-
4.20, processor bids 4.10-4.65.  Soybeans were 13 to 14 cents higher; 
elevator bids 8.32-8.83, processor bid 9.08, export bid 9.08. New crop 
wheat was 5 cents higher; elevator bids 4.88-5.28. 
   Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.10 
higher at 72.12. 
   Fruits & Vegetables:  Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
