SC Farm Report on Friday   
	          
   SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review:  Compared to last week, all classes 
of feeder cattle were steady to 2.00 lower.  Feeder Steers: Medium and 
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 138.00-160.00; 500-600 lbs 130.00-143.00.  Feeder 
Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 135.00-164.00; 500-600 lbs 
127.00-144.00.  Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 119.00-
136.00, 500-600 lbs 114.00-125.00. Slaughter cows were 2.00 lower. 
Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 46.00-51.00; Boners 80-85% lean 
45.00-61.00; Lean 85-90% lean 41.00-49.00; Lean low dressing 30.00-40.00. 
Slaughter bulls were mostly steady.  Slaughter bulls:  1010-2135 lbs 
50.00-78.00. 
   Goats: [257]  Week Ago: 263.  Reported Monday to Wednesday. Slaughter 
and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights are 
estimated.  Kids:  Sel 1 Under 20 lbs 25.00-55.00, 20-40 lbs 40.00-
105.00, 40-60 lbs 60.00-145.00, 60-80 lbs 70.00-80.00; Sel 2 N/A.  
Wethers: Slaughter 1 and 2 80-100 lbs 125.00-135.00, 100-150 lbs 155.00-
210.00, 150-250 lbs 255.00-260.00.  Does/Nannies: Sel 1 50-70 lbs 70.00-
125.00, 70-100 lbs 115.00-175.00, 100-140 lbs 150.00-195.00; Sel 2 50-70 
lbs 40.00-65.00, 70-100 lbs 65.00-95.00.  Bucks/Billies: Sel 1 70-100 lbs 
120.00-170.00, 100-150 lbs 160.00-225.00, 150-250 lbs 250.00-270.00; Sel 
2 70-100 lbs 75.00-140.00.  Pairs/Trios: Sel 1 50-70 lbs with One Kid 
Under 20 lbs 115.00-220.00 per pair; Sel 2 70-100 lbs with Two Kids under 
20 lbs 155.00-220.00 per trio.
   SC Grain on Friday.  Corn was 3 cents higher; elevator bids 4.08-4.20, 
processor bids 4.10-4.65.  Soybeans were 8 to 9 cents higher; elevator 
bids 8.50-9.00, processor bid 9.25, export bid 9.40.  New Crop wheat was 
mostly 1 to 2 cents lower and one location was 3 cents higher; elevator 
bids 4.93-5.33.
   Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.00 
higher at 71.88.
