SC Farm Report on Friday   
	          
   SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review:  Compared to last week, Feeder 
cattle were unevenly steady. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 
lbs 150.00-174.00; 500-550 lbs 145.00-159.00.  Feeder Bulls: Medium and 
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 157.00-171.00; 500-600 lbs 139.00-155.00.  Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 133.00-150.00, 500-600 lbs 
125.00-140.00.  Slaughter cows were 3.00 higher. Slaughter cows: Breakers 
75-80% lean 65.00-72.00; Boners 80-85% lean 60.00-80.00; Lean 85-90% lean 
54.00-64.00; Lean low dressing 24.00-52.00. Slaughter bulls were 5.00 
higher.  Slaughter bulls:  1210-2085 lbs 79.00-93.00. 
    Goats: [164]  Week Ago: 199.  Reported Monday to Wednesday. Slaughter 
and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights are 
estimated.  Kids:  Sel 1 Under 20 lbs 40.00-52.50, 20-40 lbs 60.00-
90.00, 40-60 lbs 95.00-130.00; Sel 2 N/A.  Wethers: Slaughter 1 and 2 80-
100 lbs one @ 150.00, 100-150 lbs one @ 200.00.  Does/Nannies: Sel 1 50-
70 lbs 80.00-140.00, 70-100 lbs 120.00-160.00, 100-140 lbs 155.00-175.00; 
Sel 2 70-100 lbs 70.00-90.00.  Bucks/Billies: Sel 1 70-100 lbs 120.00-
155.00, 100-150 lbs 180.00-235.00, 150-250 lbs 265-330.00; Sel 2 70-100 
lbs 100.00-110.00.  Pairs/Trios: Sel 2 50-70 lbs With One Kid Under 20 
lbs 120.00-175.00 per pair, Sel 2 50-70 lbs with Two Kids Under 20 lbs 
125.00-175.00 per trio, Sel 2 70-100 lbs with Two Kids Under 20 lbs 
210.00 per trio.
   SC Grain on Friday.  New crop corn was 1 cent lower and one location 
was steady; elevator bids 4.15-4.19, processor bids 4.20-4.55.  Soybeans 
were 7 to 8 cents lower; elevator bids 8.20-8.65, processor bid 8.95, 
export bid 9.05.  New Crop wheat was mostly 2 cents higher; elevator bids 
4.27-4.57.
   Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.38 
higher at 70.24.
