SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice. Live FOB
steers 1,390 lbs at 111.24, heifers 1,251 lbs at 110.82. Dressed 
delivered steers 873 lbs at 180.09, heifers 788 lbs at 180.13. Weekly 
boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 219.28, dn 
0.27, and Select 195.45, dn 2.51.
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average
prices are delivered to the buyer's farm.  Early weaned pigs were steady.  
All feeder pigs 2.00 per head lower. Demand moderate for moderate 
offerings. Receipts include 40% formulated prices.  Feeder pigs 
10-12 lbs cash basis 31.92; 40 lbs cash basis 51.76.
   Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was N/A.  Sows live price 
300-449 lbs 36.12, 450-499 lbs 38.29, and 500-549 lbs 40.38.
   SC Grain on Monday.  New Crop corn was steady to 2 cents higher; 
elevator bids 4.74-4.89, processor bids 4.79-5.09.  Soybeans were 2 to 3 
cents higher; elevator bids 8.00-8.44, processor bid 8.95, and export 
8.85.  Wheat was mostly 3 to 5 cents lower; elevator bids 4.96-5.41. 
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.11 
lower at 62.13.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State 
Farmers Market on Monday.  Beans bucrts Snap type 20.00, KY type 30.00;
