SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice. Live FOB
steers 1,392 lbs at 113.68, heifers 1,277 lbs at 113.36. Dressed 
delivered steers 900 lbs at 183.37, heifers 793 lbs at 182.94. Weekly 
boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 213.09, dn 
0.02, and Select 189.25, dn 0.28.
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average
prices are delivered to the buyer's farm. Early weaned pigs 1.00 per head 
higher.  All feeder pigs 2.00 per head higher.  Demand moderate for 
moderate offerings.  Receipts include 42% formulated prices. Feeder pigs 
10-12 lbs cash basis 35.36; 40 lbs cash basis 50.11.
   Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was 1.30 higher at 60.54.  
Sows live price 300-449 lbs 28.27, 450-499 lbs 32.41, and 500-549 lbs 
36.32.
   SC Grain on Monday.  New Crop corn was 2 to 3 cents higher; elevator 
bids 4.52-4.72, processor bids 4.67-5.02; Soybeans were 2 to 3 cents 
higher; elevator bids 8.10-8.46, processor bid 9.21, and export 9.06.  
Wheat was mostly 3 to 8 cents higher; elevator bids 4.89-5.23. 
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.47 
lower at 60.77.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State 
Farmers Market on Monday.  Beans approx. 27 lb sks Lima Green 20.00-
