SC Farm Report on Wednesday
Cattle at SC auctions on Tuesday: Compared to last week, feeder
cattle and slaughter cattle trends are not available due to limited
comparable sales. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs
145.00-151.00, 500-600 lbs 138.00-141.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large
1-2 400-500 lbs 130.00-150.00; 500-600 lbs N/A. Feeder Heifers: Medium
and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 125.00-140.00; 500-600 lbs 122.50-127.00.
Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 65.00-76.00; Boners 80-85% lean
56.00-75.00; Lean 85-90% lean 54.00-71.00; Lean Low Dressing 39.00-50.00.
Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 1000-2120 lbs 79.00-104.00; High

Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 2 965 lbs Young Age Cow with calf

Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was 0.24 lower at 39.27.
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 25.37; 450-500 lbs 29.48; 500-550 lbs 31.39.
SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn was 2 to 3 cents lower; elevator bids
4.10-4.18, processor bids 4.40-4.85. Soybeans were 2 to 4 cents higher;
elevator bids 8.33-8.71, processor bid 9.11, and export 9.27. New Crop
Wheat bids were 1 to 2 cents lower; elevator bids 5.14-5.70.
Cotton on Wednesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.83
lower at 63.22.
