SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review: Compared to last week, feeder
steers were 3.50 higher. Feeder heifers and feeder bulls were unevenly
steady. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 149.00-179.00;
500-600 lbs 138.00-156.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500
lbs 130.00-172.00; 500-600 lbs 125.00-148.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 125.00-142.50, 500-600 lbs 120.00-134.00. Slaughter
cows were steady. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 62.00-76.00;
Boners 80-85% lean 51.00-79.00; Lean 85-90% lean 51.00-71.00; Lean low
dressing 38.00-52.00. Slaughter bulls were steady. Slaughter bulls:
Average Dressing 1000-2235 lbs 75.00-104.00; Low Dressing 1115-1855 lbs
66.00-72.00; High Dressing 1250-2030 lbs 95.00-105.00.

and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights are

SC Grain on Friday. Corn was 1 to 2 cents higher; elevator bids 4.06-
4.15, processor bids 4.36-4.81. Soybeans were 2 to 7 cents lower;
elevator bids 8.35-8.74, processor bid 9.23, and export 9.28. New Crop
wheat bids were 3 to 7 cents lower; elevator bids 5.01-5.61.
Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.01
lower at 59.24.
