SC Farm Report on Thursday  
  	
   Cattle at SC Auctions on Thursday:  Trends not available due to 
limited comparable cattle sales.  Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 
400-500 lbs 145.00; 500-600 lbs 130.00-145.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and 
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 129.00-137.50; 500-550 lbs 128.00. Feeder Heifers: 
Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 115.00-122.00; 500-500 lbs 110.00. 
Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean average dressing 53.00-64.00; 
Boners 80-85% lean 54.00-70.00; Lean 85-90% lean 50.00-58.00; Lean Low 
Dressing 35.00-47.00.  Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 1275-2125 lbs 
86.00-96.00.
   Cow/Calf Pairs:  Small 3 785-830 lbs Young Age Cows with calves under 
300 lbs 375.00-450.00 per pair.
   Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs 0.29 higher at 40.88. Sows 
live price 300-450 lbs 25.83; 450-500 lbs 30.14; 500-550 lbs 32.26. 
   SC Grain on Thursday.  Corn was 9 to 10 cents lower; elevator bids 
4.06-4.19, processor bids 4.40-4.84.  Soybeans were 9 to 14 cents 
lower; elevator bids 8.07-8.65. New Crop Wheat was 6 to 7 cents lower; 
elevator bids 4.86-5.41. 
  Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.85 
lower at 57.45.
