Cattle at SC Auctions on Thursday: Trends not available due to
limited comparable cattle sales. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2
400-500 lbs 132.50-137.50; 500-600 lbs 125.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 130.00-145.00; 500-600 lbs 125.00-140.00. Feeder
Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-450 lbs 116.00-125.00; 500-600 lbs not
available. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean average dressing not
available; Boners 80-85% lean 53.00-76.00; Lean 85-90% lean 50.00-59.00;
Lean Low Dressing 36.00-49.00. Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 1150-
2105 lbs 77.00-87.00.
Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1-2 825-1210 lbs Young Age cows with
calves under 300 lbs 760.00-1075.00 per pair. Medium and Large 2 820-1075
lbs Young Age Cow with calf over 300 lbs 900.00-1000.00 per pair. Small
1-2 640-655 lbs Young to Middle Age Cow with calf under 300 lbs 550.00-

Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs 1.47 lower at 32.43. Sows
live price 300-450 lbs 35.16; 450-500 lbs 40.07; 500-550 lbs 43.81.
SC Grain on Thursday. Corn was mostly 1 to 2 cents higher; elevator
bids 3.71-3.81, processor bids 4.02-4.75. Soybeans were 9 cents higher;
elevator bids 8.23-8.69, processor bid 9.09 and export at 9.14. New Crop
Wheat was 9 cents higher; elevator bids 5.37-5.82.
Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.53
higher at 52.12.
