SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday:  No comparisons made due to limited 
comparable sales.  Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 
N/A, 500-600 lbs N/A.  Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 
136.00-137.50, 500-500 lbs 133.00.  Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 
400-500 lbs N/A, 500-600 lbs 100.00-106.00.  Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-
80% lean 59.00-66.00; Boners 85-85% lean 62.00-71.00; Lean 85-90% lean 
51.00-63.00; Lean low dressing 35.00-45.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average 
Dressing 1040-1990 lbs 86.00-91.00; Low Dressing 1345 lbs 83.00.   
   Cow/Calf Pairs:  None reported.  
   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs was not reported due to 
confidentiality. Sows live price 300-450 lbs 33.12; 450-500 lbs 39.13; 
500-550 lbs 41.94. 
   SC Grain on Tuesday:  Corn was 3 to 6 cents lower; elevator 
bids 3.67-3.96, processor bids 3.96-4.36. Soybeans were 7 to 8 cents 
lower; elevator bids 8.07-8.52, processor bid 8.92, and export 9.07.
New Crop Wheat was mostly 6 cents lower and one location was 4 cents 
higher; elevator bids 5.29-5.74. 
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was at 
50.51. 
   Fruits & Vegetables:  Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
