SC Farm Report on Friday   
	          
   SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review:  Compared to last week all classes of
feeder cattle were steady to 2.00 higher.  Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 
400-500 lbs 135.00-155.00; 500-600 lbs 125.00-136.00.  Feeder Bulls: 
Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 128.00-157.00; 500-600 lbs 120.00-
137.50. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 119.00-133.00; 
500-600 lbs 111.00-127.00.  Slaughter cows were 2.00 higher. Breakers
75-80% lean 48.00-72.00; Boners 80-85% lean 50.00-71.00; 
Lean 85-90% lean 47.00-64.00; Lean low dressing 34.00-47.00. 
Slaughter bulls were steady.  Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 
1060-2280 lbs 79.00-98.00; High Dressing 1525-2155 lbs 95.00-110.00, 
Low Dressing 1075-1875 lbs 70.00-80.00. 
   Goats: [146]  Week Ago: 189  Reported Monday to Wednesday.  
Slaughter and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights 
are estimated.  Kids: Sel 1 20-40 lbs 35.00-62.50, 40-60 lbs 50.00-
115.00, 60-80 lbs 75.00-125.00; Wethers: 100-150 lbs one @ 150.00,
150-250 lbs 220.00-340.00.  Does/Nannies: Sel 1 50-70 lbs 100.00-135.00,
70-100 lbs 127.50-140.00, 100-150 lbs 107.50-220.00, 150-200 lbs 180.00-295.00;
Sel 2 50-70 lbs 50.00-90.00, 70-100 lbs 80.00-135.00.  Bucks/Billies:
Sel 1 70-100 lbs 135.00-145.00, 100-150 lbs 135.00-190.00, 150-250 lbs
240.00-250.00.  
   SC Grain on Friday.  Corn was 2 cents higher; elevator bids 4.10-4.80, 
processor bids 4.60-4.90.  Soybeans were mostly 3 cents higher; 
elevator bids 11.28-11.48, processor bid 11.63, and export 11.83.  New 
Crop Wheat bids was 4 to 5 cents higher; elevator bids 5.77-5.82.
   Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.02
lower at 67.21.
