SC Farm Report on Friday   
	          
   SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review:  Compared to last week, all classes 
of feeder cattle were 4.00 to 6.00 lower.  Feeder Steers: Medium and 
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 125.00-160.00; 500-600 lbs 123.00-145.00.  Feeder 
Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 134.00-155.00; 500-600 lbs 
123.00-135.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 115.00-
136.00; 500-600 lbs 111.00-120.00. Slaughter cows were 5.00 lower.  
Breakers 75-80% lean 45.00-60.00; Boners 80-85% lean 44.00-65.00; Lean 
85-90% lean 45.00-56.00; Lean low dressing 34.00-48.00. Slaughter bulls 
were 5.00 lower. Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 1185-2330 lbs 70.00-
95.00; High Dressing none reported; Low Dressing 955-2390 lbs 55.00-
73.00. 
   Goats: [264]  Week Ago: 295  Reported Monday to Wednesday.  
Slaughter and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights 
are estimated.  Kids: Sel 1 20-40 lbs 55.00-125.00, 40-60 lbs 80.00-
160.00, 60-80 lbs 140.00-170.00; Sel 2 20-40 lbs 60.00-65.00, 40-60 lbs 
70.00-95.00, 60-80 lbs 85.00.  Wethers: 70-100 lbs 230.00-270.00, 100-
150 lbs 185.00-300.00.  Does/Nannies: Sel 1 50-70 lbs 125.00-130.00, 70-
100 lbs 120.00-180.00, 100-150 lbs 180.00-280.00, 140-180 lbs 290.00-
300.00; Sel 2 70-100 lbs 85.00-100.00.  Bucks/Billies: Sel 1 70-100 lbs 
125.00-195.00, 100-150 lbs 160.00-250.00, 150-250 lbs 180.00-370.00 and 
one @ 415.00; Sel 2 70-100 lbs 120.00-135.00, 100-150 lbs 150.00-185.00.  
   SC Grain on Friday.  Corn was 5 cents higher; elevator bids 4.53-5.07, 
processor bids 5.17-5.42.  Soybeans were 19 cents higher; elevator bids 
12.00-12.10, processor bid 12.35, and export 12.50.  New Crop Wheat was 
mostly steady to 11 cents lower and one location was 5 cents higher; 
elevator bids 5.53-5.83.
   Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.03
lower at 75.66.
