SC Farm Report on Thursday  
  	
   Cattle at SC Auctions on Thursday:  No comparisons made this week due 
limited comparable sales.  Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 
lbs 138.00; 500-600 lbs 123.00-132.50.  Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-
2 400-500 lbs 140.00; 500-600 lbs 130.00.  Feeder Heifers: Medium and 
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs none reported, 500-600 lbs none reported.  
Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 82.00-86.00; Boners 80-85% lean 
80.00-102.00; Lean 85-90% lean 75.00-90.00; Lean Low Dressing 55.00-
75.00.  Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 1240-2265 lbs 102.00-116.00; 
High Dressing 1555-1810 lbs 120.00-129.00; Low Dressing 1555 lbs 82.00.
   Cow/Calf Pairs:  Medium and Large 1-2 1256-1380 lbs Young to Middle 
Age cows with calves under 300 lbs 975.00-1000.00 per pair.  Medium and 
Large 2 855 lbs Middle Age Cow with calf over 300 lbs 1250.00 per pair.  
Small 1-2 755-990 lbs Middle Age Cows with calves under 300 lbs 925.00-
950.00 per pair.
   Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs live price was not reported.  
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 44.91; 450-500 lbs 47.75; 500-550 lbs 52.99.
   SC Grain on Thursday.  Corn bids were 21 to 35 cents lower; elevator 
bids 7.46-7.81, processor bids 7.26-8.21.  Soybeans bids were 57 to 60 
cents lower; elevator bids 15.03-15.53, processor bids 16.57 and export 
at 16.78.  Wheat bids were 21 to 39 cents lower; elevator bids 6.90-7.57.
   Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 5.65 
lower at 119.01.
