SC Farm Report on Friday   
	          
   SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review: Compared to last week, feeder steers 
and feeder heifers were 4.00 higher. Feeder bulls were 3.00 higher. 
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 164.00-185.00; 500-600 
lbs 160.00-176.00.  Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 
155.00-182.50; 500-600 lbs 145.00-160.00.  Feeder Heifers: Medium and 
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 137.50-155.00; 500-600 lbs 138.00-150.00.  
Slaughter cows were 9.00 higher.  Slaughter Cattle: Breakers 75-80% 
lean 87.00-95.00; Boners 80-85% lean 75.00-100.00; High Dressing 103.00-
109.00; Lean 85-90% lean 73.00-86.00; Lean low dressing 52.00-67.00.  
Slaughter bulls were steady.  Slaughter Bulls: Average dressing 
935-2170 lbs 92.00-116.00; High Dressing 1670-2000 lbs 118.00-124.00; 
Low Dressing 1000-1620 lbs 71.00-92.00.
   Goats: [238] Week Ago: 167.  Reported Monday to Wednesday. 
Slaughter and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights 
are estimated.  Kids: Sel 1 20-40 lbs 40.00-85.00, 40-60 lbs 60.00-
140.00; Sel 2 40-60 lbs 55.00-85.00.  Does/Nannies: Sel 1 50-70 lbs 
140.00-165.00, 70-100 lbs 132.50-210.00, 100-150 lbs 175.00-320.00; Sel 2 
70-100 lbs 110.00-127.50, 100-150 lbs 120.00-135.00, 150-200 lbs one @ 
200.00.  Bucks/Billies: Sel 1 70-100 lbs 120.00-265.00, 100-150 lbs 
180.00-275.00, 150-250 lbs 300.00-380.00; Sel 2 70-100 lbs 110.00-160.00, 
100-150 lbs 130.00-150.00.  Wethers: Slaughter 1 and 2 60-100 lbs 140.00-
195.00, 100-150 lbs 185.00-250.00, 150 lbs 335.00.
   SC Grain on Friday.  Corn bids were 4 to 8 cents higher: elevator bids 
6.20-6.70; processor bids 6.70-7.50.  Soybean bids were steady to 9 cents 
lower; elevator bids 15.54-15.74, processor bid 15.58 and export no bid.  
Wheat bids were mixed, 7 cents lower to 8 cents higher; elevator bids 
6.00-6.45.
   Cotton on Friday.  Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.56 
higher at 111.68.
