SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review: Compared to last week, feeder steers
were 5.00 higher. Feeder heifers were 4.00 higher, feeder bulls were 6.00
higher. Slaughter cows were 5.00 higher, slaughter bulls were steady.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 200.00-245.00; 500-600
lbs 195.00-235.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs
200.00-220.00; 500-600 lbs 195.00-225.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 190.00-215.00; 500-600 lbs 190.00-210.00.
Slaughter cows were steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter Cows: Breakers
75-80% lean 91.00-112.00; Boners 80-85% lean 90.00-119.00; High Dressing
115.00-123.00; Lean 85-90% lean 86.00-115.00; Lean low dressing 67.00-
86.00. Slaughter bulls were steady. Slaughter Bulls: Average
dressing 1065-2090 lbs 111.00-137.00; High Dressing 1470-1845 lbs 124.00-
139.00; Low Dressing 1045-1700 lbs 95.00-112.00.
Goats: [262] Week Ago: 196 Reported Monday to Wednesday. Slaughter and
replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights are estimated.

SC Grain on Friday. Corn bids were 13 to 18 cents higher;
elevator bids 5.54-7.34, processor bids 6.84-6.94. Soybean bids
were 13 cents higher; elevator bids 12.22-13.22, processor bid 14.27
and export no bid. New crop wheat bids were 12 to 19 cents higher;
elevator bids 5.39-5.84.
Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 3.23
higher at 82.35.
