SC Farm Report on Tuesday
SC Livestock auctions were closed September 30, 2024.
Hogs on Friday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs price was 1.13 higher at
57.73. Sows live price 300-450 lbs 66.48; 450-500 lbs 72.31; 500-550 lbs
73.11.
SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn was 4 to 5 cents higher; elevator bids
4.34-4.99, processor bids 4.79. New crop soybean bids were steady;
elevator bids 10.07-10.37, processor bid 11.17, and export 10.92. Wheat
bids were 4 to 15 cents higher; elevator bids 5.04-5.39.
Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.52
lower at 68.09.
