Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, December 15, 2020

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
       The January Soybean Meal futures closed 11.30 higher at 388.20, March closed 
10.10 higher at 388.90 and May closed 8.50 higher at 387.60. The January Soybean Oil 
futures closed 175 points higher at 39.19 cents per pound, March closed 162 points 
higher at 38.91 cents per pound and May closed 147 points higher at 38.60 cents per 
pound. The Truck delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 11.30 to 
14.30 higher from 378.20-383.20, the basis was from 10.00 to 5.00 under the January 
Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady to 10.00 higher from 
260.00-290.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 
pct protein was steady from 220.00-300.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola 
Meal was 11.30 to 16.30 higher from 268.20-313.20, the basis was 120 to 75 under the 
January Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 175 points higher from 
39.69-40.44 cents per pound, the basis was from 50 to 125 points over the January 
Soybean Oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
       Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 10.00 to 30.00 higher from 280.00-
310.00; Pork was 15.00 to 20.00 higher from 285.00-340.00. Yellow Grease was steady 
from 24.00-26.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 50 to 100 points higher 
from 29.00-30.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal was 15.00 to 25.00 higher from 400.00-
475.00, with an instance of 575.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was 25.00 to 50.00 higher 
from 800.00-875.00; Pork was steady to 75.00 lower from 875.00-950.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were 5.00 to 15.00 higher from 135.00-165.00

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPL, other ingredients are FOB.
