Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, January 12, 2021

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
       The March Soybean Meal futures closed 33.60 higher at 465.40 and May closed 
29.90 higher at 458.40. The March Soybean Oil futures closed 97 points lower at 42.63 
cents per pound and May closed 55 points lower at 42.33 cents per pound. The Truck 
delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 33.60 to 37.60 higher from 
450.40-462.40, the basis was steady to 4.00 higher from 15.00 to 3.00 under the March 
Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was 45.00 to 70.00 higher from 
300.00-360.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 
pct protein was steady to 25.00 higher from 250.00-300.00 in the North Dakota-
Minnesota area. Canola Meal was 28.60 to 33.60 higher from 350.40-380.40, the basis 
was steady to 5.00 lower from 115.00-85.00 under the March Soybean Meal futures. 
Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 97 to 122 points lower from 43.63-44.13 cents per pound, 
the basis was steady to 25 points lower from 100-150 points over the March Soybean 
Oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
       Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 20.00 to 40.00 higher from 300.00-
360.00; Pork was steady to 40.00 higher from 320.00-350.00. Yellow Grease was 200 to 
400 points higher from 28.00-32.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 100 to 
150 points higher from 33.00-36.50 cents per pound. Feather Meal was 15.00 to 100.00 
higher from 490.00-600.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady to 50.00 higher from 
800.00-950.00; Pork was 975.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were steady from 110.00-155.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPL, other ingredients are FOB.
