Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, March 23, 2021

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
       The May Soybean Meal futures closed 7.30 lower at 398.80, July closed 6.40 
lower at 399.50 and August closed 4.20 lower at 394.10. The May Soybean Oil futures 
closed 193 points higher at 57.02 cents per pound, July closed 47 points higher at 
53.82 cents per pound and August closed 81 points lower at 51.06 cents per pound. The 
Truck delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 7.30 to 10.30 lower from 
385.80-393.80, the basis was steady to 3.00 lower from 13.00 to 5.00 under the May 
Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was 25.00 lower at 300.00 with 
limited trade in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 
pct protein was 25.00 to 30.00 lower from 255.00-270.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota 
area. Canola Meal was 9.30 to 17.30 lower from 308.80-336.80, the basis was from 90 
to 62 under the May Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 793 to 1043 
points higher at 69.52 cents per pound with limited trade, the basis was at 1250 
points over the May Soybean Oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
       Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 5.00 to 20.00 lower from 330.00-395.00; 
Pork was steady from 370.00-450.00. Yellow Grease was steady to 100 points higher 
from 37.00-48.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 300 to 350 points higher 
from 43.00-55.50 cents per pound. Feather Meal was 50.00 to 90.00 lower from 500.00-
550.00 with an instance of 745.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady from 1000.00-
1100.00; Pork was steady to 25.00 higher from 1125.00-1225.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings was steady to 4.00 higher from 148.00-174.00.

Bids/Offers prices are FOB, bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified.
