Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, May 4, 2021

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
       The May Soybean Meal futures closed 2.00 lower at 423.50, July closed 5.30 
lower at 421.50 and August closed 5.60 lower at 416.40. The May Soybean Oil futures 
closed 150 points higher at 67.95 cents per pound, July closed 270 points higher at 
63.58 cents per pound and August closed 315 points higher at 59.45 cents per pound. 
The Truck delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 5.30 to 7.30 lower 
from 406.50-416.50, the basis was from 15.00 to 5.00 under the July Soybean Meal 
futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was 35.00 higher at 360.00 with limited trade 
in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was 
mixed, 10.00 lower to 10.00 higher from 250.00-275.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota 
area. Canola Meal was 0.30 to 5.30 lower from 341.50-361.50, the basis was steady to 
5.00 higher from 80.00 to 60.00 under the July Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in 
Minnesota was 150 to 513 points higher from 87.95-92.08 cents per pound, the basis 
was 2000 over the May Soybean Oil futures to 2850 points over the July Soybean Oil 
futures.

Animal Protein: 
       Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady from 290.00-370.00; Pork was 
steady to 5.00 higher from 350.00-410.00. Yellow Grease was steady to 300 points 
higher from 40.00-44.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 100 to 300 points 
higher from 47.00-52.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal was steady from 400.00-475.00, 
with an instance of 600.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady from 950.00-1025.00; Pork 
was steady to 25.00 lower from 1000.00-1050.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were steady to 8.00 lower from 110.00-112.00.

Bids/Offers prices are FOB, bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified.
