National Feedstuffs Market Review

The USDA Market News Service reports fed ingredient prices for the week ending July 
14, 2020 were mixed. Soybean Meal was 4.30 to 17.30 lower, mostly 10.30 lower. 
Cottonseed Meal was steady. Whole Cottonseed was mixed, 5.00 lower to 15.00 higher. 
Canola Meal was steady to 15.30 lower. Linseed Meal was steady. Sunflower Meal was 
steady. Crude Soybean Oil was 16 to 41, mostly 41 points lower. Crude Corn Oil was 
150 points higher. Ruminant Meat and Bone Meal was mixed, 15.00 lower to 5.00 higher. 
Ruminant Blood Meal was steady to 25.00 lower. Feather Meal was fully steady. Yellow 
Corn Hominy was steady. Corn Gluten Feed was steady to 10.00 lower. Corn Gluten Meal 
was steady. Distillers Dried Grain were mixed, 5.00 lower to 15.00 higher. Wheat 
Millfeeds were steady to 7.00 higher. Wheat Millrun were mixed, 3.00 lower to 5.00 
higher.

Oilseeds: The August Soybean Meal futures closed 10.30 lower at 285.20 and September 
closed 10.20 lower at 287.60. The August Soybean Oil futures closed 41 points lower at 
28.46 cents per pound and September closed 43 points lower at 28.61 cents per pound. The 
Rail delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Central Illinois was 10.30 lower from 
285.20-286.20; Indiana-Ohio was 10.30 lower from 282.20-295.20; Iowa was 10.30 to 
17.30 lower from 273.20-283.20; Kansas City was 10.30 to 13.30 lower from 282.20-
287.20; Minneapolis was 4.30 to 7.30 lower from 276.20-279.20, St. Louis was 13.00 
lower from 307.00-312.00; Memphis was 10.30 lower from 285.20-308.20; Portland was 
10.00 to 11.30 lower from 325.20-347.00; BN Santa Fe/Union Pacific delivered Chino 
Valley was 9.50 to 10.30 lower from 328.20-335.00. Cottonseed Meal FOB the Central 
San Joaquin Valley in California was steady from 270.00-295.00; Kansas City had no 
quote; St. Louis was not available; Memphis was steady from 240.00-250.00. Whole 
Cottonseed FOB the Central San Joaquin Valley in California was steady to 15.00 
higher from 320.00-330.00; delivered to Portland was steady to 5.00 lower from 
335.00-395.00; Memphis was 1.00 higher at 215.00. Offers for nearby delivered Canola 
Meal, 34 to 36 percent protein, delivered to Portland was 5.00 to 12.30 lower from 
259.20-275.00; FOB Central San Joaquin Valley truck was steady to 6.00 lower from 
287.00-289.00; Minneapolis was 15.30 lower from 200.30-225.30. Linseed Meal, 34 pct 
protein was steady in limited at 250.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower 
Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was steady from 170.00-220.00 in North Dakota-
Minnesota area. The Soybean Oil in Central Illinois was 41 points lower from 27.11-
28.06 cents per pound; Indiana-Ohio was 41 points lower from 28.71-29.46 cents per 
pound; Iowa was 16 to 41 points lower from 27.96-29.71 cents per pound; Minnesota was 
41 points lower from 27.96-29.46 cents per pound. Crude Corn Oil in Central Illinois 
was 150 points higher at 46.50 cents per pound.

ANIMAL PROTEINS: Ruminant Meat and Bone Meal in the Central U.S. was steady to 5.00 
higher at 205.00; FOB the Texas Panhandle was 5.00 lower at 165.00 in limited trade; 
Minneapolis was steady to 15.00 lower from 140.00-185.00; St. Louis was not 
available; Portland FOB Northwest Plants was steady from 190.00-210.00; FOB Central 
and Northern California was steady with limited trade at 220.00; FOB Los Angeles was 
steady with limited trade at 220.00. Pork Meat and Bone Meal in the Central U.S. had 
no quote; Eastern Corn Belt had no quote; Minneapolis was steady from 190.00-210.00; 
St. Louis was not available. Ruminant Blood Meal in the Central U.S. was 500.00; the 
Texas Panhandle had no quote; Minneapolis was steady from 400.00-500.00; delivered to 
the San Joaquin Valley was 25.00 lower at 725.00. Pork Blood Meal in the Central U.S. 
was 550.00; Eastern Corn Belt had no quote; Minneapolis was 25.00 lower with limited 
test at 550.00. Feather Meal in Kansas City was steady from 255.00-265.00; 
Minneapolis was steady from 235.00-250.00; Arkansas was steady from 240.00-250.00; 
Mississippi was steady from 230.00-240.00. 

CORN FEEDS: Yellow Corn Hominy in Central Illinois was steady at 98.00 for rail, 
truck was steady at 105.00; Kansas City (Northwest) was not available; St. Louis was 
not available; California rail had no quote, truck was steady from 170.00-172.00. 
Corn Gluten Feed in the Midwest (NE,IA,IL, IN) was steady to 5.00 lower from 95.00-
105.00; Kansas City was 1.00 to 10.00 lower from 145.00-166.00; St. Louis was 10.00 
lower at 140.00, California was steady at 200.00. Corn Gluten Meal,60 percent protein 
in the Midwest (IA, IL, IN) was steady from 380.00-405.00; Kansas City was not 
available; St. Louis was steady at 440.00. Distillers Dried Grain prices in Iowa was 
steady from 110.00-135.00; Eastern Cornbelt (IL, IN, OH, MI) was steady to 4.00 lower 
from 125.00-150.00; Kansas was steady to 15.00 higher from 115.00-145.00; Minnesota 
was steady from 115.00-125.00; Nebraska was steady to 10.00 higher from 115.00-
130.00; Wisconsin was steady to 5.00 higher from 125.00-140.00; South Dakota was 
steady to 5.00 lower from 110.00-123.00; Missouri was steady to 3.00 lower from 
136.00-145.00; St. Louis was not available; California rail was mixed, 1.00 lower to 
3.00 higher from 182.00-195.00, truck was 1.00 to 3.00 higher from 198.00-200.00; 
Pacific Northwest mills were 6.00 lower from 182.00-188.00.

WHEAT MILLFEEDS: Wheat Millfeeds in Buffalo, NY was 5.00 higher at 75.00; Kansas City 
was steady from 70.00-80.00; Minneapolis truck was steady to 5.00 higher from 65.00-
85.00; St. Louis were 5.00 to 7.00 higher from 90.00-100.00. Wheat Millrun delivered 
Portland was 5.00 higher at 185.00 in limited trade; FOB Los Angeles mill was steady 
to 3.00 lower from 140.00-162.00.

OTHERS: In the South, Rice Bran, Rice Millfeed and Rice Hulls were mostly steady. In 
California, Rice Bran and Rice hulls were steady. Alfalfa Meal prices were steady across 
the nation this past week.
