National Feedstuffs Market Review

The USDA Market News Service reports fed ingredient prices for the week ending 
Tuesday June 15, 2021 were mixed. Soybean Meal was 15.40 to 32.40 lower. Cottonseed 
Meal was steady to 20.00 lower. Whole Cottonseed was steady. Canola Meal was steady 0 
to 19.40 lower. Linseed Meal was 5.00 to 25.00 lower. Sunflower Meal was 15.00 to 
45.00 lower. Crude Soybean Oil was 351 to 651 points lower. Crude Corn Oil was 50 
points higher. Ruminant Meat and Bone Meal was steady to 15.00 higher. Ruminant Blood 
Meal was steady to 25.00 lower. Feather Meal was mixed, 25.00 lower to 30.00 higher. 
Yellow Corn Hominy was steady to 5.00 lower. Corn Gluten Feed was 5.00 to 40.00 
lower. Corn Gluten Meal was steady to 25.00 lower. Distillers Dried Grain was steady 
to 23.00 lower. Wheat Millfeeds were steady to 5.00 lower. Wheat Millrun was steady 
to 5.00 higher.

Oilseeds: The July Soybean Meal futures closed 17.40 lower at 372.40, August closed 
17.90 lower at 373.80 and September closed 17.80 lower at 375.70. The July Soybean 
Oil futures closed 651 points lower at 65.57 cents per pound, August closed 596 
points lower at 63.34 cents per pound and September closed 587 points lower at 62.56 
cents per pound. The Rail delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Central Illinois 
was 17.40 lower from 370.40-377.40; Indiana-Ohio was 21.40 lower at 385.40; Iowa was 
17.40 lower from 352.40-362.40; Kansas City was 17.40 to 21.40 lower at 362.40; 
Minneapolis truck was 17.40 to 22.40 lower from 352.40-362.40, St. Louis was 28.00 
lower from 390.00-395.00; Memphis was 17.40 to 32.40 lower at 392.40; Portland was 
17.40 to 18.00 lower from 403.40-420.00; BN Santa Fe/Union Pacific delivered Chino 
Valley was 15.40 to 33.60 lower from 407.40-422.40. Cottonseed Meal FOB the Central 
San Joaquin Valley in California was steady from 360.00-407.00; Kansas City was 
steady to 20.00 lower from 385.00-415.00; St. Louis was steady to 20.00 lower from 
380.00-410.00; Memphis was 15.00 to 20.00 lower from 330.00-340.00. Whole Cottonseed 
FOB the Central San Joaquin Valley in California was steady from 460.00-470.00; 
delivered to Portland was steady from 465.00-520.00; Memphis was steady at 390.00. 
Offers for nearby delivered Canola Meal 34 to 36 percent protein, delivered to 
Portland was 12.00 to 15.00 lower from 335.80-350.00; FOB Central San Joaquin Valley 
truck was steady at 385.00; Minneapolis was 17.40 to 19.40 lower from 282.40-305.40. 
Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was 5.00 to 25.00 lower from 295.00-300.00 in the North 
Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was 15.00 to 
45.00 lower from 235.00-280.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. The Soybean Oil in 
Central Illinois was 351 to 651 points lower from 71.57-80.57 cents per pound; 
Indiana-Ohio was 651 points lower from 70.57-72.57 cents per pound; Iowa was 651 
points lower from 72.57-94.07; Minnesota was 651 points lower from 85.57-94.07 cents 
per pound. Crude Corn Oil in Central Illinois was 50 points higher at 69.50 cents per 
pound.

ANIMAL PROTEINS: Ruminant Meat and Bone Meal in the Central U.S. was 10.00 higher at 
425.00; FOB the Texas Panhandle was 10.00 higher at 350.00; Minneapolis was 5.00 to 
10.00 higher from 320.00-385.00; St. Louis was not available; Portland FOB Northwest 
Plants was 5.00 to 15.00 higher from 230.00-340.00; FOB Central and Northern 
California was steady at 385.00; FOB Los Angeles was not available. Pork Meat and 
Bone Meal in the Central U.S. was 15.00 to 55.00 higher from 410.00-450.00; Eastern 
Corn Belt was 15.00 higher at 475.00; Minneapolis was mixed, 15.00 lower to 35.00 
higher from 335.00-460.00, St. Louis was not available. Ruminant Blood Meal in the 
Central U.S. was not available; the Texas Panhandle was at 1000.00; Minneapolis was 
steady from 950.00-1025.00; delivered to the San Joaquin Valley was 25.00 lower at 
1100.00 in limited trade. Pork Blood Meal in the Central U.S. was from 900.00-975.00, 
Eastern Corn Belt was steady to 25.00 higher from 1075.00-1100.00; Minneapolis was 
steady to 50.00 lower at 975.00. Feather Meal in Kansas City was steady from 480.00-
495.00; Minneapolis was mixed, 25.00 lower to 30.00 higher from 450.00-500.00; 
Arkansas steady from 460.00-470.00; Mississippi was steady from 460.00-470.00. 

CORN FEEDS: Yellow Corn Hominy in Central Illinois was steady at 180.00 for rail, 
truck was 5.00 lower at 185.00; Kansas City (Northwest) was not available; St. Louis 
was not available; California rail was steady at 280.00, truck was steady at 280.00. 
Corn Gluten Feed in the Midwest (NE,IA,IL,IN) was steady to 5.00 lower from 165.00-
190.00; Kansas City was 7.00 to 33.00 lower from 182.00-215.00; St. Louis was 40.00 
lower at 177.00; California was 15.00 to 30.00 lower from 250.00-270.00. Corn Gluten 
Meal, 60 percent protein in the Midwest (IA, IL, IN) was steady to 25.00 lower from 
540.00-560.00; Kansas City was not available; St. Louis was 15.00 lower at 640.00. 
Distillers Dried Grain prices in Iowa was 10.00 to 15.00 lower from 185.00-215.00; 
Eastern Cornbelt (IL, IN, OH, MI) was steady to 5.00 lower from 195.00-230.00; Kansas 
was 5.00 to 10.00 lower from 210.00-245.00; Minnesota was 8.00 to 15.00 lower from 
185.00-212.00; Nebraska was steady to 10.00 lower from 195.00-225.00; Wisconsin was 
5.00 lower to 10.00 lower from 210.00-215.00; South Dakota was 13.00 to 17.00 lower 
from 195.00-212.00; Missouri was 5.00 lower from 220.00-240.00; St. Louis was not 
available; California was not available; Pacific Northwest mills were 19.00 to 23.00 
lower from 257.00-266.00.

WHEAT MILLFEEDS: Wheat Millfeeds in Buffalo, NY was steady at 145.00; Kansas City was 
steady to 2.00 lower from 150.00-170.00; Minneapolis was steady from 145.00-190.00; 
St. Louis was steady to 5.00 lower from 185.00-200.00. Wheat Millrun delivered 
Portland was 5.00 higher at 300.00 in limited trade; FOB Los Angeles mill was steady 
from 180.00-235.00.

OTHERS: In the south Rice Bran, Millfeed and Rice Hulls were steady.  In California, 
Rice Bran and Rice hulls were steady. Alfalfa Meal prices were steady across the 
nation this past week.
