National Feedstuffs Market Review

The USDA Market News Service reports fed ingredient prices for the week ending 
Tuesday June 22, 2021 were mixed. Soybean Meal was steady to 14.10 lower, mostly 9.10 
lower. Cottonseed Meal was steady to 27.00 lower. Whole Cottonseed was steady to 
20.00 lower. Canola Meal was steady to 25.00 lower. Linseed Meal was steady to 5.00 
lower. Sunflower Meal was 15.00 to 30.00 lower. Crude Soybean Oil was 490 to 590 
points lower. Crude Corn Oil was 700 points lower. Ruminant Meat and Bone Meal was 
steady. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady. Feather Meal was steady to 10.00 higher. 
Yellow Corn Hominy was mixed, 15.00 lower to 17.00 higher. Corn Gluten Feed was mixed 
25.00 lower to 15.00 higher. Corn Gluten Meal was 20.00 to 50.00 lower. Distillers 
Dried Grain was steady to 30.00 lower. Wheat Millfeeds were mixed 23.00 lower to 5.00 
higher. Wheat Millrun was mixed 5.00 lower to 20.00 higher.

Oilseeds: The July Soybean Meal futures closed 9.10 lower at 363.30, August closed 
10.50 lower at 363.30 and September closed 11.40 lower at 364.30. The July Soybean 
Oil futures closed 490 points lower at 60.67 cents per pound, August closed 442 
points lower at 58.92 cents per pound and September closed 406 points lower at 58.50 
cents per pound. The Rail delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Central Illinois 
was 8.10 to 9.10 lower from 361.30-369.30; Indiana-Ohio was 9.10 lower at 376.30; 
Iowa was 9.10 lower from 343.30-353.30; Kansas City was 9.10 lower at 353.30; 
Minneapolis truck was 9.10 to 14.10 lower from 343.30-348.30, St. Louis was steady 
from 390.00-395.00; Memphis was 9.10 lower at 383.30; Portland was steady 7.10 lower 
from 396.30-420.00; BN Santa Fe/Union Pacific delivered Chino Valley was 9.10 lower 
from 398.30-413.30. Cottonseed Meal FOB the Central San Joaquin Valley in California 
was steady to 27.00 lower from 360.00-380.00; Kansas City was 10.00 lower from 
375.00-405.00; St. Louis was 10.00 lower from 370.00-400.00; Memphis was steady from 
330.00-340.00. Whole Cottonseed FOB the Central San Joaquin Valley in California was 
steady to 20.00 lower from 440.00-470.00; delivered to Portland was steady to 5.00 
lower from 460.00-520.00; Memphis was 10.00 lower at 380.00. Offers for nearby 
delivered Canola Meal 34 to 36 percent protein, delivered to Portland was steady to 
14.50 lower from 321.30-350.00; FOB Central San Joaquin Valley truck was steady to 
25.00 lower from 360.00-385.00; Minneapolis was 7.10 to 9.10 lower from 273.30-
298.30. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady to 5.00 lower from 290.00-300.00 in 
the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was 
15.00 to 30.00 lower from 220.00-250.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. The 
Soybean Oil in Central Illinois was 490 to 590 points lower from 65.67-75.67 cents 
per pound; Indiana-Ohio was 490 points lower from 65.67-67.67 cents per pound; Iowa 
was 490 points lower from 67.67-89.17; Minnesota was 490 points lower from 80.67-
89.17 cents per pound. Crude Corn Oil in Central Illinois was 700 points lower at 
62.50 cents per pound.

ANIMAL PROTEINS: Ruminant Meat and Bone Meal in the Central U.S. was steady at 
425.00; FOB the Texas Panhandle was steady at 350.00; Minneapolis was steady from 
320.00-385.00; St. Louis was not available; Portland FOB Northwest Plants was steady 
from 230.00-340.00; FOB Central and Northern California was steady at 385.00; FOB Los 
Angeles was at 385.00. Pork Meat and Bone Meal in the Central U.S. was 30.00 to 40.00 
lower from 380.00-410.00; Eastern Corn Belt was not available; Minneapolis was steady 
from 335.00-460.00, St. Louis was not available. Ruminant Blood Meal in the Central 
U.S. was at 975.00; the Texas Panhandle was not available; Minneapolis was steady 
from 950.00-1025.00; delivered to the San Joaquin Valley was steady at 1100.00 in 
limited trade. Pork Blood Meal in the Central U.S. not available, Eastern Corn Belt 
was not available; Minneapolis was 25.00 to 50.00 higher from 1000.00-1025.00. 
Feather Meal in Kansas City was steady from 480.00-495.00; Minneapolis was steady to 
10.00 higher from 450.00-510.00, with an instance of 625.00; Arkansas steady from 
460.00-470.00; Mississippi was steady from 460.00-470.00. 

CORN FEEDS: Yellow Corn Hominy in Central Illinois was 15.00 higher at 195.00 for 
rail, truck was 17.00 higher at 202.00; Kansas City (Northwest) was not available; 
St. Louis was not available; California rail was 15.00 lower at 265.00, truck was 
steady at 280.00. Corn Gluten Feed in the Midwest (NE,IA,IL,IN) was 20.00 to 25.00 
lower from 145.00-165.00; Kansas City was mixed, 18.00 lower to 13.00 higher from 
195.00-197.00; St. Louis was 15.00 higher at 192.00; California was steady to 5.00 
higher from 255.00-270.00. Corn Gluten Meal, 60 percent protein in the Midwest (IA, 
IL, IN) was 30.00 to 50.00 lower from 490.00-530.00; Kansas City was not available; 
St. Louis was 20.00 lower at 620.00. Distillers Dried Grain prices in Iowa was 10.00 
to 15.00 lower from 175.00-200.00; Eastern Cornbelt (IL, IN, OH, MI) was steady to 
5.00 to 15.00 lower from 190.00-215.00; Kansas was 10.00 to 15.00 lower from 195.00-
235.00; Minnesota was 15.00 to 22.00 lower from 170.00-190.00; Nebraska was 10.00 to 
30.00 lower from 165.00-215.00; Wisconsin was 15.00 to 20.00 lower from 190.00-
200.00; South Dakota was 10.00 to 15.00 lower from 185.00-197.00; Missouri was 5.00 
to 15.00 lower from 215.00-225.00; St. Louis was not available; California was at 
307.00; Pacific Northwest mills were steady to 7.00 lower from 250.00-266.00.

WHEAT MILLFEEDS: Wheat Millfeeds in Buffalo, NY was 5.00 higher at 150.00; Kansas 
City was 5.00 to 20.00 lower from 145.00-150.00; Minneapolis was steady from 145.00-
190.00; St. Louis was 10.00 to 23.00 lower from 175.00-177.00. Wheat Millrun 
delivered Portland was 5.00 lower at 295.00 in limited trade; FOB Los Angeles mill 
was steady to 20.00 higher from 200.00-235.00.

OTHERS: In the south Rice Bran, Millfeed and Rice Hulls were steady.  In California, 
Rice Bran and Rice hulls were steady. Alfalfa Meal prices were steady across the 
nation this past week.
