Pacific Northwest Weekly Feedstuffs

   Pacific Northwest Market Summary:  Feed ingredient offers ended the 
reporting week on Tuesday, April 14, mixed compared to last report's offers.  

   Oilseed Meal Markets:  Offers for 47 percent protein Soybean Meal, for 
nearby rail delivery to Pacific Northwest were steady to 2.30 higher from 
338.10-390.00.  Offers for soybean meal truck delivered to the Willamette 
Valley were steady to 5.00 lower from 375.00-405.00.  Offers for nearby rail 
delivered to Pacific Northwest Canola Meal, 34 to 36 percent protein were 
mixed, 6.30 lower to 5.00 higher from 242.50-295.00.  Truck delivered 
Willamette Valley canola meal offers, 34 to 36 percent protein were steady to 
5.00 higher from 280.00-310.00.

   Whole Cottonseed:  Whole Cottonseed offers for delivery to points in the 
Pacific Northwest from the Midsouth in single boxcars were steady to 5.00 
higher from 335.00-400.00.  Offers for whole cottonseed trans-loaded onto 
trucks and delivered to Willamette Valley dairies were 5.00 higher from 350.00-
465.00.

   Animal Proteins:  Offers for 46 to 50 percent protein ruminant Meat and Bone 
Meal, FOB Pacific Northwest plants, were steady from 180.00-200.00.  Offers for 
ruminant meat and bone meal truck delivered to the Willamette Valley were 
steady from 220.00-235.00.

   Wheat Millrun:  Feed mill offers for Wheat Millrun for nearby delivery, 
loaded FOB the flour mill in Portland were 5.00 higher at 200.00.  Offers for 
wheat millrun truck delivered to the Willamette Valley were 5.00 higher at 
200.00.  Flour mill offers for wheat millrun rail delivered to Portland on the 
Burlington Northern Line from eastern Washington and eastern Oregon for nearby 
delivery were steady at 165.00.  Offers for wheat millrun FOB eastern Oregon 
and eastern Washington for nearby delivery trended steady to 20.00 higher from 
105.00-120.00.

   Alfalfa Products:  Offers for Suncured Alfalfa Pellets, 15 percent protein, 
delivered by truck to the Willamette Valley were steady at 340.00.

   Distillers Dried Grains:  Offers for Distillers Dried Grains delivered by 
rail to feed mills in the Pacific Northwest were 2.00 to 10.00 lower from 
260.00-265.00.  Offers for distillers dried grains trans-loaded onto trucks and 
delivered to Willamette Valley dairies were steady to 8.00 lower from 280.00-
285.00.

   Coarse Feeding Grains:  Offers for US 2 Barley for nearby delivery to 
Portland in single rail cars for domestic use were steady at 205.00 in a 
limited test.  Offers for US 2 Barley truck delivered to the Willamette Valley 
were steady at 205.00 in a limited test.  US 2 Yellow Corn offers for truck 
delivery to points north of Seattle were not available.  Offers for US 2 Yellow 
Corn truck delivered to points in the Seattle area are not available.  Offers 
for US 2 Yellow Corn rail delivered to Portland trended 4.50 to 6.50 lower from 
162.75-164.75.  Offers for US 2 Yellow Corn truck delivered to the Willamette 
Valley were not available.  US 2 Yellow Corn offers for truck delivery to the 
Yakima Valley were mixed, 1.25 lower to 2.50 higher from 168.00-168.50.  
Chicago May corn futures closed at 3.2600, 5.50 cents lower than last report's 
closes.  US 2 Heavy White Oats truck delivered to Portland and Willamette 
Valley were not available.

Wholesale Feedstuff Prices and Basis per ton bulk in truck or carlots, 
delivered to the Northwest Coast.
