The A2 Milk Company has acquired a manufacturing plant in New Zealand from a subsidiary of China Mengniu Dairy at a cost of NZ282 million ($257 million). The plant has two Chinese label registrations, which will allow A2 Milk to boost its sales of baby formula in China, which is the world's biggest market for formula. Meanwhile, A2 Milk has reported record annual revenue of $NZ1.9 billion, up 13.5 per cent on the previous corresponding period, while its net profit rose 21 per cent to $NZ202.9 million..
