AO "GEOTEK"'s Board of Directors approved the company's planned financial and economic indicators for 2026.
The Board of Directors of Geotech JSC approved the company's planned financial and economic performance indicators for 2026. Projected revenue is 9.2 billion rubles, net profit is 0.41 billion rubles, and EBITDA is 1.59 billion rubles. The debt restructuring has improved the group's financial stability.
By the end of 2025, JSC GEOTECH completed 404,889 physical observations, of which
62,602 f.n. / 3,103.6 linear km were for 2D projects, 342,287 f.n. / 2,097.8 km² were for 3D projects.
Work was conducted in key oil and gas regions: the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Yakutia, the Orenburg Region, and the Caspian Sea. The peak number of seismic survey crews reached 2,246. In addition, 12 major projects were completed in 2025, including orders from industry leaders such as Gazprom,
LUKOIL, Rosneft, INK, and others. The company's share of the Russian seismic exploration market exceeded 30%.
The key projects for 2025 are:
- exploration work in the Yuzhno-Yamskaya area (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug), where for the first time on an industrial scale, the patented ISSD (seismic in motion) technology was applied using Yenisei N-20 pulsed sources and wireless equipment, which made it possible to conduct research in an area previously considered untapped by traditional methods.
- Unique geophysical surveys in the field of Norilsk Nickel's Mayak and Zapolyarny mines in the Far North. Seismic exploration was conducted using Yenisei SEM-100 sources and ISSD technology, while the use of WTU-508 ensured high sensitivity and data accuracy.
- implementation of the second stage of the MOGT-3D seismic exploration work in the middle part of the Caspian Sea within the framework of a three-year contract from 2024 to 2026, for which a special processing graph was developed that made it possible to suppress reverberations, increase the dynamics and resolution of the recording, which made it possible not only to assess the quality, but also to carry out operational interpretation based on the obtained volume of data.
In 2026, Geotech JSC will continue implementing large-scale regional and commissioned projects in Yakutia and the Karabash zone (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug) as part of the "Geology – Revival of a Legend" program, at the Tiginsky site in the Tomsk Region, and in the Caspian Sea. At the same time, the company is actively expanding its order portfolio in cooperation with Russia's largest vertically integrated oil companies. The Company will also continue implementing its strategy of international expansion and geographic diversification. In 2025, a number of 2D and 3D projects were successfully completed in the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the same time, the Company is promoting its competencies in the markets of Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Cooperation with Chinese suppliers is being strengthened, and supply chains are being optimized.
Geotech JSC's investment policy is aimed at creating a sustainable technological platform capable of ensuring flexibility and efficiency in a wide range of operating conditions. Key investment areas in the coming years will include:
- development of low-manned technologies (ISSD, unmanned vehicles, automated installation of geophones, etc.),
- digitalization of the field and office stages (we will continue to move towards AI-controlled processes),
- domestic developments (localization of geophysical equipment, recording systems, development of our own software, reliance on domestic production chains),
- development of an international business line under the Azimut brand (for markets with challenging logistics and poor infrastructure accessibility. Such solutions are currently in demand not only in the CIS but also in Asia, South America, and Africa).
"GEOTEK JSC is demonstrating steady growth, expanding the geography of its projects, implementing advanced technologies, and strengthening its international position. The company remains confident in the competitiveness of domestic technologies and continues its systematic work on the international stage. We are confident that Russian seismic exploration expertise is competitive, and we have something to offer not only domestic but also international customers," noted Roman Panov, President of GEOTEK JSC.
