The Australian sharemarket posted a slight gain on Monday, with the S&P/ASX 200 adding 2.1 points to close at 8,423 points. Fortescue was down 1.2 per cent at $19.25, Woodside Energy shed 1.1 per cent to end the session at $23.79 and the ANZ Bank fell 3.6 per cent to $30.03 after appointing a new CEO. However, the Commonwealth Bank rose 1.5 per cent to $159.38 and Superloop was up 1.8 per cent at $2.30..
