The Victorian government is said to be looking to reduce its office space in Melbourne's CBD, according to confidential tender documents. It comes as the government is looking to legislate a right to work from home, with its tender seeing a shift from a traditional requirement for having one desk per worker to one that may only require 60 desks per 100 workers. Commercial real estate agency JLL is advising the state government on its office requirements, with its apparent desire to cut its office space in the Melbourne CBD coming at a time when it is trying to rejuvenate the city..
