Bitwise Partners With ING to Offer Discounted Crypto ETP Trading

Feb 02, 2026 (MarketLine via COMTEX) --

From February, ING Germany customers can trade Bitwise crypto ETPs from order sizes of ae1,000 without execution costs (flat fee ae3.90).

Bitwise , a leading provider of crypto investment solutions, is launching a partnership with ING Germany. Starting in February, customers of the online broker in Germany can trade Bitwise crypto ETPs with order sizes of €1,000 or more without execution fees – smaller orders will incur a flat fee of €3.90. The products can also be used for savings plans without execution fees. This partnership underscores both companies' long-term commitment to digital assets.

Focus on established crypto assets

While the entire Bitwise product range is part of the promotion on Xetra, three products in particular are the focus of the cooperation:

Bitwise Core Bitcoin ETP (BTC1, DE000A4AER62): The Bitcoin ETP with a total expense ratio (TER) of currently 0.05% 1 .

Bitwise MSCI Digital Assets Select 20 ETP (DA20, DE000A3G3ZL3): A crypto basket ETP that aims to replicate an index of the 20 largest digital currencies according to the MSCI index rules, after costs and fees.

Bitwise Physical Ethereum ETP (ZETH, DE000A3GMKD7): Access to the performance of Ether (ETH) via the stock exchange, the world's second largest cryptocurrency.

All Bitwise ETPs are fully deposited, held in cold storage (offline) with a crypto custodian and have a withdrawal option.

Strategic growth in the German market

For Bitwise, the cooperation with ING Germany marks a milestone in reaching new customer groups. ING serves one of the largest and most financially strong broker communities in the country. This partnership enables Bitwise to address an experienced and quality-conscious investor base with above-average asset allocation who are increasingly seeking diversification into crypto ETPs.

"The partnership with ING Germany is a key component of our growth strategy in Europe," said Jan Altmann, Director of Investment Strategy at Bitwise Europe GmbH. "We are pleased to now offer German customers of one of Europe's leading online brokers cost-effective and straightforward access to our institutional investment solutions. The accompanying information services aim to support investors in making informed investment decisions in the area of ??digital assets."

Expansion of the partner network

With this new partnership, Bitwise expands its network. In addition to ING Germany, this includes brokers, direct banks, and investment platforms such as Scalable Capital, finanzen.net zero, comdirect, and S-Broker. Bitwise's crypto ETPs can be traded through the securities accounts of most banks with access to German stock exchanges, just like stocks or ETFs. Availability may vary depending on the platform.

Warning – Risks of Crypto ETPs

Investors should be aware that investments in crypto assets involve significant risks, including:

Volatility risk: The prices of crypto assets and exchange-traded crypto products (ETPs) can be subject to significant fluctuations.

Liquidity risk: Market depth and trading volumes can vary and affect the execution of transactions.

Custody risk: Despite institutional-level custody, digital assets can remain vulnerable to cyberattacks and technical malfunctions.

Regulatory risk: The treatment of crypto-assets is subject to evolving regulatory frameworks.

Market risk: Major market movements can significantly influence the value of the ETP.

Investments in crypto-linked products carry significant risks and can result in the partial or total loss of invested capital. Crypto markets are highly volatile, and prices can fluctuate sharply and unpredictably. Liquidity may be limited, which could impair your ability to buy or sell at your expected price. Furthermore, additional risks exist related to the product structure (including issuer and credit risks), custody and operational procedures, and evolving regulatory frameworks. There is a risk that you could lose some or all of your invested capital.
