The Australian dollar eased slightly on Monday, and was trading at around $US0.7030. The dollar has shed one per cent since the Iran war began, but currency strategists are upbeat about its outlook, with the ANZ Bank forecasting that it will top $US0.75 by the end of this year. Oliver Levingston from Bank of America says the fact that Australia's official interest rates are higher than Group of 10 nations should boost the currency; financial markets have priced in a 63 per cent chance that the Reserve Bank will increase the cash rate in May..
