Class action lawyers set sights on Atlassian

The share price of Nasdaq-listed but Sydney-based Atlassian has shed nearly 70 per cent in the last year, amid fears that demand for its software will decline in the artificial intelligence era. The stock fell by almost eight per cent on 16 January, and US law firm Portnoy Law Firm has advised that it is investigating whether Atlassian had committed securities fraud by misleading investors about the competitive threat posed by AI. Rival firm Pomerantz LLP recently indicated that it is looking at pursuing a class action against Atlassian..
