CleanSpark Continues AI Infrastructure Transition as Sandersville Project Advances

Aug 07, 2026 (PRISM News via COMTEX) --

CleanSpark (NASDAQ: CLSK) reported third-quarter fiscal 2026 results while highlighting continued progress on its transition from a Bitcoin mining company to a diversified digital infrastructure platform centered on high-performance computing (HPC) and AI data centers.

The company’s most significant recent milestone remains its previously announced 20-year, $6.6 billion triple-net lease at its Sandersville, Georgia campus with a high investment-grade tenant. During the quarter, CleanSpark announced that it had ordered and prepaid all long-lead equipment required for the project and fully funded its anticipated equity commitment, moves management said materially reduce execution risk ahead of the facility’s planned ready-for-service date.

While quarterly revenue declined 30.5% year over year to $138.0 million, reflecting weaker Bitcoin mining economics, management emphasized that the company’s growing portfolio of power assets and AI infrastructure opportunities provides multiple paths to future commercialization.

Sandersville Continues to Shape the Investment Story

H.C. Wainwright said the Sandersville project represents a transformational shift for the company, noting that the market has yet to fully reflect the long-term value of the AI infrastructure business. The firm reiterated its Buy rating and $22 price target, arguing that Sandersville alone could ultimately represent a substantial portion of CleanSpark’s valuation. The analyst also pointed to additional opportunities at the company’s Texas and Washington sites as potential future AI leasing candidates.

Beyond Sandersville, management said it continues to see strong inbound interest from prospective HPC and AI tenants while evaluating additional infrastructure acquisitions. The company ended the quarter with $202.6 million in cash, approximately $815 million in Bitcoin holdings, and $761 million in working capital, providing financial flexibility as it advances its data center strategy.
