Switzerland-based commodity trader and mining company Glencore has released its production figures for calendar 2024, ahead of announcing ts full-year results in mid-February. Glencore advised that coal production increased by five per cent year-on-year, to 119.5 million tonnes; however, copper production was six per cent lower at 952,000 tonnes and zinc output fell by one per cent to 905,000 tonnes.
