The federal government has appointed former assistant treasurer Stephen Jones as Australia's ambassador to the Paris-based OECD. Treasurer Jim Chalmers and Foreign Minister Penny Wong have praised Jones, stating that he will bring a "wealth of experience" to the role when he takes up the position in September.
