Oma Savings Bank Plc repurchased and canceled its outstanding covered bonds to optimize its financing structure.
Oma Savings Bank Plc (OmaSp or the Company) has bought back its outstanding covered bonds maturing in 2026 with a total nominal value of EUR 50,000,000. The aim of the measure is to optimize the Company's financing structure.
The company has cancelled the repurchased bonds. The repurchases reduce OmaSp's interest costs and financing risk and strengthen its financing structure. If the market situation permits, the company may continue to repurchase bonds, but the nominal value of the bond must be at least EUR 500,000,000.
The outstanding amount of the bond (ISIN FI4000522974) after the cancellation of the purchased bonds is EUR 550,000,000 in nominal value.
