Refresco hires new CEO from NestlA(C)A

Steve Presley will take over from Hans Roelofs, who announced his decision to step down from the company in June.

Refresco, a Dutch drinks group, has appointed former NestlA(C) executive Steve Presley as its new CEO, effective 4 August.AA

The incoming CEO joins KKR-owned Refresco following more than a 28-year career at NestlA(C), where he was the executive vice president and CEO of its Americas unit.A

He left the NescafA(C) coffee brand owner at the end of April.A

Refresco said during his time at NestlA(C), Presley held roles spanning executive leadership, operations, manufacturing, corporate strategy and finance, aEURoeproviding him a comprehensive perspective on end-to-end business performanceaEUR.AA

In his previous role at NestlA(C), Presley aEURoe managed over 100,000 employees across 24 countries and a network of over 120 manufacturing and distribution facilities across 20 product categoriesaEUR, Refresco said.

In 2024, Refresco reported revenue of ae5.99bn ($7.04bn), marking a 1% increase from the previous year.AA

However, the volume of drinks sold decreased to 13.83bn litres from 14.25bn litres in 2023.AA

Carbonated soft drinks and water products each accounted for 26% of the company's volume, while sports and energy drinks made up 15%.A

Refresco operates over 70 manufacturing sites across Europe, Australia, the US, Canada, and Mexico, producing both branded and own-label soft drinks, fruit juices, and other beverages.AA

Based in Rotterdam, the company employs more than 14,000 staff.A

In May, the group agreed to acquire Telemark Kildevann (TKV), a Norway-based soft-drinks manufacturer.AA

TKV operates two production facilities in Fyresdal and Aurskog, supplying products to retailers and branded customers in Norway and Sweden.A
