The deal enables Reges Elektrik to initiate electricity generation at the 70MW Demirli Wind Power Project.
Reges Elektrik has acquired Tuspa Enerji, enabling the company to begin electricity generation at the 70MW Demirli Wind Power Project in the Kaman district of Kirsehir in Türkiye.
The acquisition was completed with RES Türkiye, a subsidiary of RES Group, an independent renewable energy company.
With this investment, Reges Elektrik aims to strengthen its presence by combining established supply capabilities with high-capacity power production that meets international standards.
In line with this project, Reges Elektrik has formed a partnership with ENERCON to use ten E-175 EP5 E2 turbines at the Demirli site. This marks the first implementation of this latest-generation turbine model in Türkiye. The project is set to utilise advanced wind technology designed for higher efficiency and output.
The Demirli project marks Reges Elektrik's initial move into large-scale generation. The company will update stakeholders on progress and future projects related to renewable energy investments.
Reges Elektrik general manager (GM) Enver Altuncu said: "We believe that every step taken in alignment with Türkiye's energy vision holds strategic significance that impacts the entire economic structure, from national development goals to urbanisation policies.
"The acquisition of Tuspa Enerji and the completion of the 70MW wind power plant in Kirsehir Kaman demonstrate that Reges Elektrik is now firmly and decisively positioned on the production side of the industry.
"We are evolving into a more comprehensive energy structure by complementing our success in the supply sector with robust production capabilities.
"Our objective is clear: to achieve 360-degree inclusivity in the energy value chain. We view energy not merely as a resource but through a lens that encompasses its social, economic and environmental impacts."
