Under the contracts, SLB will provide low-pressure, high-pressure and thermal wellheads, along with ECPs and PCPs.

SLB has secured two contracts spanning five yearsAfromAPetroleum Development Oman (PDO) to provide wellheads and artificial lift technologies for Block-6, the largest oil and gas concession in Oman.AA

Block-6 is an onshore conventional oilfield in Oman,AoperatedAby PDO.A

The field is owned by the Government of Oman, PTT Public, Shell and TotalEnergies.A

The agreements are designed to improve production efficiency and increase recovery rates, while also supporting in-country value.A

Under the terms of the contracts, SLB will supply low-pressure, high-pressure and thermal wellheads alongside electric submersible pumps (ESPs) and progressive cavity pumps (PCPs).AA

The initiative includes plans to expand local manufacturing and introduce gate valve production within six months.A

Advanced technologies such as the 15kASOLIDrillAmodular compact wellhead system, ESP surveillance systems and ESP permanent magnet motors will be deployed by SLB to reduce power usage and improve sustainability.A

In September 2025, SLBAwonAa contract from PetrobrasAto provide services and technology forA35 ultra-deep-water wells in Brazil's Santos Basin.AA

TheAproject focuses on the second phase of theAAtapuAandASA(C)piaAfields, where oil and gas reserves lie beneath thick salt layers approximately 2,000m below sea level.A
