SLB has secured a contract from Petrobras to deliver services and technology for up to 35 ultra-deepwater wells in Brazil's Santos Basin.AA
The project involves wells from the second phase of the Atapu and SA(C)pia fields, which target oil and gas reserves located beneath thick salt layers nearly 2,000m below sea level.A
Under this contract, SLB will provide advanced electric completions technologies and digital solutions to support real-time production intelligence and enhanced reservoir management, enabling Petrobras to optimise the extraction of these resources.AA

The award follows a competitive tender process and builds on an earlier Petrobras contract secured in 2024 to SLBaEUR(TM)s OneSubsea joint venture, covering subsea production systems and associated services for the same fields.A
